1. Please briefly introduce yourself and your current job.
Hi, my name is Zorica Kačarević and I have been working as a research associate at the transfer center TRACES since the beginning of May. Before that, I studied computer linguistics at the University of Stuttgart and was able to get to know the university structures as a research assistant. What do I do now? - My main task is to set up a university partner network for the Stuttgart and Neckar-Alb regions as part of the CARS 2.0 project. How does that work? - First of all, we organize events where everyone involved can get to know each other and discuss the challenges facing their sectors.
2. What does the project CARS 2.0 have to do with transfer?
The CARS 2.0 project is primarily aimed at the automotive industry and its suppliers from the mechanical engineering sector. Knowledge and technology transfer is only effective if there is an exchange between all parties involved. By bringing together universities, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups, this exchange is simplified. Creating a sustainable network between players thus offers an optimal platform for innovation and transfer.
3. Who can contact you and how do you provide support?
Interested universities, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups from the Stuttgart and Neckar-Alb regions who would like to be part of a regional network or simply want to find out more about the university partner network or CARS 2.0 can contact me. I am happy to provide all interested parties with more information and integrate them into our network. Together, we will be able to overcome even the biggest challenges. I look forward to meeting you!
