Business Relations: Science meets Industry

The Business Relations department initiates and maintains collaborations between the university and external cooperation partners. As a central point of contact, the department acts as a link between the university and industry, politics, administration and society. In doing so, we focus on the expansion of sustainable cooperation and long-term, strategic partnerships.

The department's core tasks include identifying needs and trends, providing scientific expertise as well as targeted and topic-related matching between university members and stakeholders from industry, politics and society. This results in the initiation and support of pilot projects, research collaborations and the joint development of funding applications for innovative projects.

The close collaboration between the University of Stuttgart and its cooperation partners makes it possible to drive forward joint research and development projects.
