TRACES had the honour of representing the University of Stuttgart at the 3rd SDG International Innovation Forum in Montréal – with Germany as guest nation and the University of Stuttgart as a featured guest university.
Tamara Arutyunyants, Head of Business Relations at TRACES, gave an overview of the university’s diverse research profile and its strong focus on knowledge and technology transfer. The presentation highlighted interdisciplinary clusters of excellence, large-scale initiatives such as ARENA2036 and the InnovationCampus Mobility of the Future, as well as the central role of TRACES in connecting research with industry.
The event brought together academic institutions, students, and industry representatives in an open and collaborative setting. The international exchange demonstrated how global partnerships can drive innovative solutions for the challenges of digitalisation, sustainability, and responsible innovation.
A further highlight was TRACES’ participation in the IAMOT 2025 conference, which featured high-level contributions on topics such as innovation ecosystems, resilient infrastructure, and digital strategies for sustainable development.
Our conclusion: Sustainable digital innovation needs strong international networks and open collaboration. We look forward to building on the connections made in Montréal and exploring new opportunities ahead.
