VivaTech 2025 in Paris is one of Europe’s most important tech and innovation events. This year, TRACES attended the fair alongside TTI GmbH and startup teams from the University of Stuttgart to gain new perspectives, build connections, and engage with the latest developments in AI, deep tech, and startup ecosystems.
Key moments of the visit included:
– The German Startup Night, co-sponsored by TTI and the University of Stuttgart / TRACES, with insightful discussions about the real needs of early-stage startups.
– The French-German Tech Lab, a platform for exchange and cooperation between startups and regional networks.
– The Main Stage, with appearances by Emmanuel Macron, Jensen Huang (NVIDIA), and Arthur Mensch (Mistral AI). Particularly noteworthy was the announced partnership between NVIDIA and Mistral, alongside France’s national AI strategy – a clear political statement in support of European tech sovereignty.
– A visit to STATION F, the world’s largest startup campus, offering impressive insights into what is possible with consistent startup support.
Among the participants from the Stuttgart ecosystem were Cyclize, SpinMagIC, Haptive, and TruePhysics – strong teams with an ambition to help shape Europe’s tech future.
Our takeaway: Contributing to Europe’s tech transformation means building bridges, not silos. We’re excited to bring the new impulses from Paris directly into our work at TRACES.
