Successful finale of the Entrepreneurship lecture series at the University of Stuttgart

February 13, 2025

The lecture series consisted of 12 events in total, with around 40 invited speakers.

On January 29, the lecture series Entrepreneurship came to a close with Thomas Sommer- Dittrich from Mercedes-Benz AG. He reported on the important role start-ups play for the major car manufacturer and thus initiated an exciting discussion with lively participation.

This year, the Entrepreneurship lecture series was able to count on the support of numerous industry and expert speakers, who provided the students with interesting insights. The insights into various companies were inspiring, represented by Sebastian Keimer from Kistler Instrumente GmbH, Werner Volk from OPTIMA life science GmbH, Urszula Kosidlo from Motherson Innovations, Dr. Nikolai Gauss from Pfiz/Gauss Patentanwälte, Dr. Ute Hillmer from VECTOR Informatik, Florian Meßner-Schmitt from TRUMPF, Carmine D'Errico from Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, Dr.-Ing. Florian Dambietz from Magirus Iveco Group, Max Nestoriuc from AVL Deutschland GmbH, Mathias Bosch from Bosch Business Innovations.

Every week, innovative and up-and-coming start-ups, including many alumni start-ups from the University of Stuttgart, also told their stories. We would like to thank Katrin Kreidel from Hydrop systems, Andy Clifton from Enerlace, Dr. Vasileios Filippou from Varimol, Stephan Dengler from chargeIQ,, Sebastian Loeffler from Nexobility GmbH, Pascal Koch from Imensus, Norbert Witz-Haszler from 21Semiconductors, Dr. Holger Banzhaf from DeepScenario, Philipp Jungk from Vision Domes GmbH, Dr. Konrad Wenzel from Esri R&D Center Stuttgart, Antonius Gress from Blockbrain, Lukas Teichmann from NODE Robotics, Michael Schlagmüller from Swabian Instruments, Nicolas Mandry and Günay Can from Inferno – firefighting, Albert Groz from TruPhysics, Maximilian Staudenmaier from Synthavo and Nils Fahrbach from Printoptics.

The closing event was a great opportunity for networking and exchanging experiences. Together, we created a memorable conclusion to this year's Entrepreneurship lecture series at the University of Stuttgart.

We would like to thank all participants, speakers and supporters for their commitment. Many thanks also go to Prof. Alexander Brem, Tamara Arutyunyants, Dr. Andreas Wahl and Dr. Eric Heintze for the dedicated organization and well thought-out program design of the lecture series.

We look forward to upcoming events!
