Stuttgart-based companies and start-ups can submit their applications until March 31, 2025. Both technical and non-technical innovations that have been launched on the market or successfully implemented within the last four years are eligible for the award. For start-ups, the exception rule applies that a market launch is at least imminent.
The four categories Digitalization, Mobility, Sustainability & Social Engagement, Start-up will each be awarded 25,000 euros in prize money. Applications can be submitted for one or more categories, depending on the content of the innovative achievement.
Jury
Competent and experienced representatives from business, science and the media form the jury of the Stuttgart Innovation Award and assess the submitted applications, which have previously been professionally reviewed by experts. Prof. Alexander Brem, Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) and Vice-Rector for Transfer and International Affairs, is also part of the jury.
