Student assistant (m/f/d) wanted for Communications and Public Relations

The Transfer Centre TRACES of the University of Stuttgart is looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) to support communication and public relations as well as the Business Relations department as soon as possible.

TRACES is divided into the Career Service, Business Relations and Entrepreneurship departments and aims to bundle and strategically expand transfer projects. It acts as a central point of contact for all members of the university and external partners from business, society and politics for activities in the field of knowledge and technology transfer.

 

Your future tasks:

  • support in the planning, organisation and implementation of large and small events such as workshops, company contact fairs, lecture series, reception of delegations, etc.
  • creation and design of materials with Canva or Adobe programmes such as posters, flyers, Instagram and LinkedIn posts in the corporate design of the university
  • design of presentations with PowerPoint in the corporate design of the university
  • preparation of content for our regular newsletter
  • format ideas for social media and own implementation
  • website maintenance with Open CMS after training
  • support in the maintenance of our Confluence page

 

Your profile:

  • enrolled student at a university, ideally in the fields of communication & design, business administration, social sciences or similar
  • very good written and oral communication skills in German and good English skills as well as enjoyment of networking
  • creativity and a flair for design and layout
  • good knowledge of Canva and Adobe programmes such as Photoshop and InDesign or willingness to familiarise yourself with them
  • willingness to familiarise yourself with Open CMS, basic knowledge is an advantage
  • careful, structured way of working as well as reliability, independence and ability to work in a team

Key data for the position:

  • working hours: 40 hours / month or 8-12 hours / week (or by arrangement)
  • start: as soon as possible
  • the position is initially limited to six months, with the possibility of extension - so you should be available for at least two semesters.
