Offers for students and PhD students interested in founding a start-up

Every semester, the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) offers a wide range of courses and interdisciplinary key qualifications related to entrepreneurship – from start-up simulation hackathons to start-up crash courses.

In this lecture series, experts from the business world and start-up scene provide exciting insights into the topics of transfer, innovation, founding and start-ups on a weekly basis. Each week, a new focus topic is presented – practical and inspiring.

Dates: Every Wednesday during the winter semester in Lecture Hall 47.03, Pfaffenwaldring 47, University of Stuttgart.

The TRACES Entrepreneurship Team supports students in turning their ideas into socially effective projects or start-ups with free information sessions, workshops, coaching and access to network contacts.

Department 15, Knowledge and Technology Transfer, is a central service facility at the University of Stuttgart. It provides free advice on the recording, management and commercialisation of inventions, property rights and other intellectual property, such as software. Its services range from early-stage advice to the negotiation of licence agreements.

The University of Stuttgart offers many opportunities to turn creativity into reality outside the lecture hall. In makerspaces and workshops, students can bring their ideas to life thanks to the wide range of equipment and tools available and discuss their projects with other creative minds. There are also opportunities for start-up teams to use free co-working spaces and office rooms.

Career orientation for students

The Career Service supports students in their transition from university to professional life – through counselling, workshops and practical events. The aim is to promote career orientation and help students navigate the application process successfully.

At your request, Career Service, in cooperation with student groups, offers application portfolio reviews, short presentations, or workshops at your faculty or department. With a little advance notice, larger events can also be organised directly at your faculty. Please feel free to contact us.
