About us - TRACES

At TRACES, we support your transfer projects, provide a framework for specific transfer measures, and act as a service provider for transfer-oriented research initiatives.

TRACES is the University of Stuttgart's central platform for transfer and provides comprehensive support to students and staff in their transfer projects.

Our task is to initiate and promote partnerships and cooperation between the University and external actors ( companies, society, politics/administration) and to support co-creative research and knowledge transfer.

In addition, we at TRACES promote the anchoring of entrepreneurship at the University of Stuttgart and are a network partner for start-up players at university level, in business, society and politics/administration. The Career Service supports students and graduates with the start of their careers and offers employers opportunities to get in touch with young talents at an early stage.

As part of the university, TRACES actively fosters connections between science, business and society and contributes to overcoming social challenges.

There is a particular focus on cooperation with the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) and the Technology Transfer Initiative GmbH (TTI).

The Entrepreneurship division of TRACES is part of the startup factory of the German government NXTGN.
