TRACES - the Transfer Center of the University of Stuttgart

At TRACES, we support your transfer projects, provide an umbrella for concrete transfer measures and are service providers for transfer-oriented research initiatives.

Pave the way, create tracks, accompany success

TRACES is the central contact point for transfer at the University of Stuttgart and provides students and employees with comprehensive support for their transfer projects.

Our task is to initiate and support partnerships and cooperation between the university and external stakeholders (companies, society, politics/administration) and to support co-creative research and knowledge transfer.

In addition, TRACES promotes the anchoring of entrepreneurship at the University of Stuttgart and is a network partner for founding parties at university level, in business, society and politics/administration. With the Career Service, we promote the individual and professional development of students and graduates.

A particular focus is on cooperation with the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) and the Technologie-Transfer-Initiative GmbH (TTI).

The University of Stuttgart is also part of the state initiative NXTGN. NXTGN is the innovation platform from Baden-Württemberg that connects start-ups, science and business. The TRACES transfer center is a central player for the coordination and implementation of the state initiative NXTGN.
