Following a keynote by Prof. Dr. Martina Schraudner (Technische Universität Berlin) and a stage talk with Katharina Jestaedt (BMFSFJ), the four regional pilot spaces were presented in deep-dive sessions. TRACES, together with the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism, presented the Baden-Württemberg pilot space "InvestInHerBusiness" — focused on investments in sustainable ventures founded by women. An interactive Pick-a-Side format was used to discuss how awareness of female entrepreneurship can be strengthened, how more women investors can be engaged, and how responsible investing can be promoted.
The conference once again highlighted where key action is needed: visible role models who inspire others to take on responsibility are just as important as a stronger awareness of structural inequalities. Studies show, for example, that gender alone reduces the likelihood of owning renewable energy installations — and that women use AI tools in professional contexts significantly less than men. Both findings point to the enormous untapped potential that still exists.
TRACES will continue to drive the topic of female investment forward. TRACES would like to thank the nationwide gründerinnenagentur (bga) and the BMFSFJ for organising the transfer conference, as well as all those who contributed.
