EXIST Women: TRACES Strengthens Female Entrepreneurship Across the University Network

March 9, 2026

Female entrepreneurship is not a trend — it is a central pillar of innovation, diversity, and sustainable progress. Supporting more women in taking the step towards founding a company requires targeted funding and strong networks. This is exactly where TRACES, together with the partner universities of the Inspire2Start Hub, is taking action.

As part of the EXIST Women funding programme, the universities of the Inspire2Start Hub — the University of Stuttgart, the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences for Technology (HfT Stuttgart), Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, and Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences — are joining forces with the hub "TriAS – Triangle for Academic Startups" to pool their expertise and develop a cross-institutional curriculum for female scholarship holders. The planned elements include a joint kick-off as well as mid-point and final meetings, a coordinated curriculum with qualification and advisory offerings, and mentoring and networking formats that extend beyond individual universities.

The goal is to transform individual initiatives into a dynamic ecosystem that specifically supports women founders, creates high-quality synergies rather than duplicate structures, and accelerates the path from innovation to application — well beyond individual locations.
